I enjoyed the first book, but book 2 of the series just seemed forced. I especially hated the part where there was a chapter where Gavin DIED and then at the start of the next chapter you find out she was just dreaming. I hate things like that in books almost as much as I hate when they do klll off a character and then bring them back to life. Either kill em or leave them alive, do not fake itThe whole book is filled with several sub-plots and continual problems between the to main characters, it felt like a soap opera playing out over several episodes. Needless to say it even made me start to dislike book 1.
